Rhode Island Commerce Extends Wavemaker Fellowship Application Deadline

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Today, Rhode Island Commerce announced that the deadline to apply for student loan reimbursement through the Wavemaker Fellowship has been extended to March 28, 2025.

The Wavemaker Fellowship awards refundable tax credits of up to $6,000 per year for up to four years to recent college graduates working in STEM, certain design fields, healthcare, and for the first time — education. The purpose is to retain their talents in Rhode Island.
